A Dutch university department of family medicine and public health research is seeking to join a consortium under HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01-DISEASE-10 on preventing and managing chronic non-communicable diseases in children and young people.

It can participate as a project partner or work package leader, contributing expertise in primary-care implementation science, behavioural and digital prevention interventions, tobacco and nicotine cessation, stakeholder engagement, and real-world evaluation. Its strengths include equitable implementation for underserved groups, randomised and quasi-experimental evaluation methods, and experience in both European and low- and middle-income settings, including Ethiopia. The department also provides access to relevant primary care and public health data, as well as networks of healthcare providers, schools, community organisations and public health authorities. Relevant experience includes the Horizon Europe project FRESHAIR4Life.
