The NRW.Europa team is pleased to invite you to an online-webinar introducing the European Innovation Council (EIC) funding programme of the European Union.

With nearly €100 Billion of funding allocated over a 7-year period, the Horizon Europe programme is the largest international R&D programme of its kind. However, finding the right specific topic for a great project idea can be challenging among the many sub-topics and themes within the programme. The EIC on the other hand provides an opportunity for funding for Europe’s most disruptive, game-changing, and breakthrough technologies, supporting them all the way from basic research up to market entry and commercialisation. Through three main funding lines – Pathfinder, Transition, and Accelerator – all types of innovative actors in Europe can be funded, from universities and research institutions, to SMEs and start-ups. Any technology can be funded under this programme, as long as it is innovative enough!

In our webinar, NRW.Europa experts Marcus Collier-Wright und Tim Schüürmann will cover:

  1. A summary of the EIC programme including the three main funding lines, their specific criteria and conditions, and how they are interrelated.
  2. An introduction into the EIC Work Programme for 2024, including the new deadlines and the latest challenge topics.
  3. An overview of the cost-free advisory service provided as part of the Enterprise Europe Network, and the extended support available for female entrepreneurs.

The webinar is aimed at founders, CEOs, CTOs, R&D personnel, and technical leaders, who are working for SMEs and research institutions in Nordrhein-Westfalen in innovative industries.

The event language is English.

Please note that the webinar will be recorded and distributed for information purposes. However, event participants will remain anonymous and can ask questions via the Q&A function.
