Successful R&I in Europe 2015
7th European Networking Event
- 5. Nov. 2015 - 6. Nov. 2015
- Van der Valk Airporthotel
- Englisch
For the seventh time, the conference invites researchers and entrepreneurs from North Rhine-Westphalia and regions in Europe to find new European research and innovation (R&I) partners for Horizon 2020 projects.
The series of events has been a great success with over 1700 participants since 2009.
In 2015, special partner regions are: Belgium, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Poland and Turkey.
REGISTRATION is closed! In case of any question, please contact the event organizer!
The networking event will be structured in parallel brokerage sessions focussing on seven topics:
- Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
- Energy
- Nanotechnology, Materials and Manufacturing (NMM)
- Sustainable Economy
- Life Sciences
- Mobility support/MSCA (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions)
Please note: There is no separate MSCA workshop. - SME Instrument/Fast Track to Innovation
The event addresses especially universities and research institutes and small as well as medium-sized enterprises. Participants are invited to become involved in established and new technology networks between researchers, entrepreneurs and multipliers related to Horizon 2020. Giving a short presentation (ideas and/or results) or finding a partner by talking to decision-makers opens doors for new research and innovation projects in Europe with a focus on Horizon 2020.
Conference fee: € 120 (€ 95 one day) per person including VAT. Free participation for speakers in sessions 1 to 5.
The conference fee includes dinner on 5.11., lunch on 6.11., tea/coffee/cold drinks during the breaks, the „Düsseldorf by Night“ tour and the airport-venue shuttle (solely as provided by the organizers).
Invoices will be despatched in the course of the next few days. You can settle it before or after the event or in cash at our reception desk during the conference. We will issue a receipt.
Call for presentations (ideas and/or results) was open until 25 October 2015.
Testimonials
Tim Hülser
Institute of Energy and Environmental Technology e. V. (IUTA)
The event gave me a deep insight into European research and innovation projects and the corresponding funding opportunities in Horizon 2020. Furthermore, it was highly beneficial for building networks leading to common proposals.
Martina Reuber
Chamber of Agriculture of North Rhine-Westphalia
The event made it easy for me to get in contact with international researchers. It was a great way to discuss project ideas for Horizon 2020 –combining interdisciplinary approaches – and to get an insight in the exploitation of former European projects.
